1. Play and explore using the Ozobot for screen-free coding.

  • Understand the logical rules the device is constrained by
  • Program screen-free using the robot’s colour codes
  • Program screen-free to solve problems and think strategically

2. Construct algorithms through programming Ozobots using an iPad, tablet, smart phone or computer

  • Understand what algorithms are:
    • how they are implemented as programs on digital devices
    • that programs execute by following precise and unambiguous instructions
  • Create and debug simple programs
  • Use logical reasoning to predict the behaviour of simple programs

3. Program Ozobot to Dance

  • How can we program Ozobot?
  • What are the basic steps of programming and how does this work with Ozobot?
  • Analyse and decompose geometric figures and translate them into moves for Ozobot
  • Write, debug and run a program to make Ozobot dance a specific step

4. Use the Sphero App to control the Sphero robot

  • Learn how to use the Sphero App controls
  • Develop manouvering skills using the joystick control
