This workshop is at Intermediate level and is suitable for students in Stage 3, 4 & 5.

Sphero Joystick Sphero EDU Block Coding


The joystick in the Sphero EDU App allows students to aim the sphero, select light colours and speed and make the sphero move


The sphero EDU App has a Programs screen which can be used to create programs for the Sphero.
Block code category options include Movement, Lights, Sounds, Controls, Operators, Comparators, Sensors, Events, Variables and Functions.
There is also the option to program the sphero using JavaScript.
